Each mother and baby unit have their own unique breastfeeding style. Unfortunately, sometimes their breastfeeding  journey doesn’t always go to plan!

What Susan can support you with

  • Antenatal preparation session – Getting prepared for the breastfeeding journey before the baby arrives or if the last breastfeeding experience didn’t go to plan.

  • Antenatal Breastfeeding Education  can range from 1-2 hours. Written  Information and videos are left with you to view at your leisure with your partner.

  • Covering ALL breastfeeding  issues.

  • Breastfeeding  Consultations (at home with your baby).  Usual visit –  2 hours

  • Personalized one on one support to achieve your desired feeding outcome.

  • Visit you in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

  • Offer reassurance, strategies and options with evidence-based advice.

  • Enjoying the feeding experience comfortably and confidently

  • Ensuring that feeding time is a positive and pleasant experience for mother and baby

  • Assisting parents with bottle feeding the breastfed baby if required (in some circumstances bottle-feeding may be required).

  • Offers a sensible, manageable and realistic feeding plan for the family to work with.

  • Consultations include follow up contact for up to 2 weeks on either phone, SMS and or email – mothers choice.

  • Available 7 days a week.

  • After-hours and weekend appointments available.

Fees:

Most private health funds will provide rebates for services provided by a Certified Lactation Consultant

 

Consultant registered with that fund. (Enquire with your health fund prior to consultation)


Payments can be made either by Cash, Direct Deposit or Credit Card.
A discount given if a further appointment is required
